Samantha’s Story

Born and raised in Oregon, I found a passion for the arts at a very young age. As a child I was always coloring and purchasing how to draw books at the local book fair. As I grew older I found myself enrolling in every art class my school provided.

Upon graduation I was awarded for my devotion to the arts and was even made student of the month in April 2009.

I was accepted into the Art Institute where I pursued a degree in animation but soon discover that it wasn’t an career I truly enjoyed. After a lot of consideration I left the Art Institute to attend classes at my local community collage to better enhance my fine art skills.

After years of trial and error through many creative varieties, I finally discovered my passion lies in painting and in creating digital artwork. I usually prefer to work in oils and acrylics, but I do enjoy changing up my materials from time to time.

My art style is very versatile from highly detailed paintings and digital portraits, illustrations, high fantasy, and landscapes to my newest endeavor, creating large scale wall murals.
